This comfortable and relaxing cottage occupies a central location within the delightful coastal village of Ballantrae and has been completely refurbished to ensure that your holiday is as comfortable as possible. If you are looking for some breathing space to revitalise your energy or a longer period in which to explore the nearby coast and country then The Old Shop is available for both short breaks (minimum stay 3 nights) and weekly lets. The cottage is bright, spacious and fully furnished with an eclectic mix of old and new. The accommodation is ideally arranged for up to three couples (see Floor Plan) or for families with older children as it has three separate sleeping units. Please note the accommodation may not be suitable for families with young children requiring supervision as there is no direct access between the two upstairs bedrooms. Each upstairs double bedroom has its own bath/shower room/wc accessed by separate staircases, and the ground floor bedroom has two single beds with an adjacent shower room/wc. All bedrooms have TV with Free-view and the beds are fitted with electric blankets.

The well equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer, together with an extending dining table seating up to six people.

The lounge is fully furnished with comfy sofas and chairs together with Free-view television and provides Wi-Fi access with no extra cost.

The accommodation will support up to 6 people and one well behaved pet is welcome to visit. Please note, for the comfort of all our guests, we would ask that you do not smoke in the cottage.

The attractive, fully enclosed rear garden is well furnished with patio equipment and a barbeque. It also enjoys views of the sea over surrounding properties.

The cottage is ideally placed for the local shop, pub and tea room, each of which are within one hundred yards. Similarly there is easy access to the Foreland, beaches and harbour all of which are but a couple of minutes stroll from the Old Shop.

The property has on road parking and additional parking is available, by prior arrangement, for one vehicle within the car park of the nearby hotel.
